Welcome to the Wisconsin Sport Aikido Club

The Wisconsin Sport Aikido Club is a community-focused and volunteer based dojo under the Midwest Yudanshakai, United States Tomiki Aikido Blackbelt Federation - an affiliated organization of the TSAA, Tomiki Sport Aikido Association. Our mission is to provide traditional martial arts instruction in the style of Tomiki Aikido, to students and the community; growing relationships, friendships, and the spirt of the martial arts, while instilling respect, commitment, and dedication.

What is Aikido?

Aikido was founded by Morihei Ueshiba (1883-1969), and is translated into English as the Way of Harmony. Osensei, as Ueshiba is often referred, began development of Aikido in the 1920s based on numerous styles he had studied in the past as well as Kenjutsu/swordmanship. The main focus being a martial art that could be both studied spiritually and physically, with the focus of defeating your opponent without injuring them by harmonizing with any attack to redirect and neutralize.

Mon: 6:45 pm - 8:45 pm | Thu: 6:45 pm - 8:45 pm

Club Dues

$40.00 a month, or $100.00 for 3 months (paid quarterly) cash or credit accepted.

* A waiver of liability and injury will be required to be signed by all participates or their legal guardian.
